He already knows the answer, but He asks us because He wants us to understand and get it.
Genesis 3:9
But the Lord God called to the man, "Where are you?"
1. He asked Adam, "Where art thou?" Sometimes we don’t realize where we are in life and it takes the voice of GOD to remind us.
Exodus 4:2
Then the Lord said to him, "What is that in your hand?" "A staff" he replied.
2. He asked Moses, "What is that, you have in your hands?" Many times the very blessing we need is already in our grasp.
Ezekiel 37:3
He asked me, "Son of man, can these bones live?" I said, "Sovereign Lord, you alone know."
3. He asked Ezekiel, "can these bones live?" Sometimes you may think a situation in your life has died. But GOD is reminding you that it can live. It's not dead; It's not over.
Genesis 18:14
Is anything too hard for the Lord? I will return to you at the appointed time next year, and Sarah will have a son."
4. He asked Abraham, "Is there anything too hard for GOD?". Think about that as you are going through life. It doesn't matter how the situation looks like. There is nothing too hard for GOD to do.
Nothing is impossible with Him.
